Hi, I’m new to wordpress… LOVE the sound of buddypress and am stuck with permalink settings – what do I set them to to be able to activate buddypress? Thanks, Dale.

Go to settings – permalinks and then choose one from common settings

You can also use own custom type

Anything, as long as it’s not the default (i.e. no permalinks).

@Paul_Gibbs – do you need to change the permalink settings when you install multi site. They are all broken in my new blogs on the site .eg. http://Www.science2point0.com/wikis/ any ideas?
