Private directory list?

I can only see my 6 public blogs in the directory list as a regular user unless I am logged in as the Super Admin and then I can see all 308 blogs. I need to allow my regular registered users to see all the non-public blogs when they are looking at the directory. Can anyone help? I’m on WP 3.0 and BP 1.2.5.2.
