I’ve disabled all of my wordpress plugins but I’m baffled to why the profiles of the username adds the extra %20 characters to them.

I’m running the latest buddypress version as it has just been recently installed.

If I manually delete the %20 characters, it still goes to the same page (for SEO, this is bad since I will have two URLS with the same content). But I’m more worried about aesthetics, especially when users want to hyperlink to certain profiles, activities, links, etc…

Any advise?

This happens with every single user?

%20 is a URL encoded space character. So it could be that, somewhere along the line, something is adding a trailing space to your user_nicename. Do you have access to your database, so that you can have a look? If you create a new user with all of your plugins disabled, does the same thing happen?
