Hello,
I’m using WordPress 3.4.1. and my own BuddyPress child theme under BuddyPress1.6 Default.
I’ve set a static home page and an empty page (called BLOG) to display the posts, using the GUI.
I’m also using Widgets Controller to select widgets to show in the sidebar on each page.
Everything works fine for the standard static pages (default template) but the sidebars are empty in the home page and the BLOG page even if I select some widgets to show there.
I can’t figure out why and where I have to dig?
Any idea?

Do widgets show up in the sidebar when you disable the Widgets Controller plugin?

So now, I got all the widgets I’ve created/selected on each page
Should I use another plugin like Display Widgets or ??

I’ve installed Display Widgets https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/display-widgets/
Everything works perfectly now.
