I am facing this error in the forum header:
“Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-forums/bbpress/bb-includes/backpress/class.wp-taxonomy.php on line 586”.

I did not activated my forum before.
But after I activated it, on only forum head it showing this error.
Please help, I am using default buddypress theme.

Removed “&”.
Though it is solved but is it safe to delete it???

This error is from bbPress, not BuddyPress. I suggest you turn down PHP’s warning level.
