BuddyPress broke WordPress

    I have my site ran on WordPress 3.0.4. I’ve decided to install BuddyPress plugin and the whole system crashed

    I recieve the following error
    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/t/traumausru/mi/public_html/wp-includes/pomo/mo.php on line 212

    I understand that something is wrong with my WP, but what it could be?

    Thank you!

    Your web host and/or hosting package aren’t providing your site enough memory to load BP up. By chance are you running a non-English installation?

    No, I use original BuddyPress version. But my WP is non-English.
    I was trying to find out how to increase memory, and some people say that it’s possible to change in wp-settings.php. I went through this file, and found the following line
    // Set initial default constants including WP_MEMORY_LIMIT, WP_DEBUG, WP_CONTENT_DIR and WP_CACHE.
    wp_initial_constants( );
    Maybe I can set the memory_limit using this function? In this case, what values should I use?

    Thanx
