the instructions to install a secondary blog are:

‘define the ‘root’ blog you would like BuddyPress to reside at by adding the code snippet below to wp-config.php:
define ( ‘BP_ROOT_BLOG’, $blog_id );
Example:
define ( ‘BP_ROOT_BLOG’, 3 );

Note: Your $blog_id can be found in the “ID” column of the “Super Admin > Blogs” page.’

i can not locate the blog id. I have not found an “ID” column in WP3.1

Does any one know where i find the blog id of the secondary blog

You’re on 3.1 so you will need to switch to the ‘Network Admin’ view of the dashboard (upper right link) then sites > sites to see the list of MS sites along with id’s

When i go to sites in network admin the sites are listed but the headings for information, are ‘Path’, ‘Last Updated’, ‘Registered’ and ‘Users’ Under ‘Excerpt View’ the names of the site are listed under ‘Path’ as well. Are the names the Id or is it something else?
