Are you using a custom theme? It looks like the necessary JavaScript might not be loading.

@BooneGorges I have that same error/issue occur on Buddypress.org, so it doesn’t seem to be an isolated issue. I still have the randomly selected gravatar because I have that error when I try to upload a new image on this site.

Error after attempting to change avatar on buddypress.org: http://i41.tinypic.com/2ufbrc8.png

Hi, I´m having the same problem, here on buddypress.org and on my website. I´m working on WP3.0 + BP 1.2.3

The avatar function is working on my site but not on the buddypress forum/website for me (shame as I have many questions to ask but I dont want the members thinking im as grumpy as my avatar makes me look ;-) Does anyone know how to rectify this?

Just tried changing our email address from PatAndLorna@OurDomain.com to patandlorna@ourdomain.com and the gravatar image started to work.
