Can anyone help me figure out how you can make Buddypress search members well?

For example, if I put in:

http://example.com/members/?s=jim

It would bring up Jim. But if I did this:

http://example.com/members/?s=jim+dave

it wont bring up anyone unless they have both jim, AND dave in their names. I want it to search for jim OR dave.

Anyone?
