I want to co-located two social networks using BuddyPress. Ideally, the networks will each have their own domains, but share members (i.e., members will join once, and share logins and passwords across the 2 networks). The networks will also share some content. Is this possible using BuddyPress? (One network already exists in Ning and the other is loosely formed on Facebook.)

This is not currently possible with BuddyPress. There is some talk about allowing multiple BuddyPress installs under a single Multisite-enabled WordPress install, but that would not allow for the sharing of logins and passwords without some additional coding.
