I installed WP3.1.2, BP1.2.8 and BP Album+0.1.8.9 . I see the the BP Album+ settings page in the back end. But where do I add Albums and pictures?

I recently installed WordPress with multi site and buddy press on my laptop. But I can’t figure out where a visitor would go to register.
I don’t see anything in the back end that would enable/disable registration either. Am I simply missing it? Please advice. Any input would be appreciated.
