I deactivate the plugin on my site
…I went to the github, downloaded the plugin.
FTP’d the new plugin up to the site and activated it.
Still getting the error message when trying to upload […]

I deactivated all plugins one by one…testing each time for the error in uploading an image.
Each time a fatal error.

Never mind, It populates the avatar even if the email was previously deleted

When I register a new user: instead of a preselected identicon showing, I get a avatar from another user.
Identicons are selected in the General Settings and Setting>Discussions

Any suggestions?

@boone I tried your suggestion changing (var $enable_create_step = false;)

It didn’t remove the Send Invites from the group creation steps.
Am I doing something wrong?
