i finally have buddypress running relatively well, but i have decided that the Buddypress avatar system simply won’t work…it doesn’t allow an uncropped, animated gif for an avatar, not even for the admin.

I need assistance with this exact issue as well. None of the links work. On Yahoo Web Hosting. Permalink structure is as follows: index.php/%postname%/ Yahoo doesn’t allow for .htaccess files, so if Buddypress uses .htaccess, this won’t work for me. I’m hoping that isn’t the case.
