My Buddypress humanity plugin has nearly halted the spam blogs, its down to a couple a day instead of 50. I am so happy.

    Sorry about that, it is a free plugin. I am not spamming. I have been searching buddypress for months looking for a solution to spam blogs that actually works. I was trying to pass on this technique to the rest of the thousands of folks who are trying to do the same.

I still get 3 or so spam blogs every couple days, but I can deal with that, compared to the 20 a day I was getting. Previously I tried using the .htaccess rewrites and captcha’s but they did not reduce the spam, I had to try something. Thanks, and thanks to Sarah.

Thanks for the observation, I had intended this plugin to help with the fight against Spam Blogs, which means WPMU. I did not even consider using it for regular single wp buddypress. I will do some testing and get it working with both.

I like the cat, mine is 19 = OLD

Sorry about that, I hate bugs. I caused that one while fixing another. Anyway, I released version 1.13 and the custom title is working.
