Sorted.
Upgraded plugin: BuddyPress Usernames only. The members are never notified since the activity component is turned off. But the message is misleading. I’d say it’s a minor “bug”.
Had a workaround. I uninstalled the plugin, deleted the group document’s values in the wp options databse and the group-documents folder in wp-uploads. Re-activated the plugin and it worked out O.K
@nuprn1 Which table in particular? I can see wp_bb_meta has uri http://[domain-name]/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-forums/bbpress/
Is that the right value?
The bb-config file exists
@hnla My first reaction was to mark them as spam then delete from BP admin bar. Marked as spam successfully but not deleting didn’t work 2 cases. Maybe a straight delete works, I will try that next.
They were successfuly deleted though from the WP back-end under “Users” and logged out. Their forum posts are not inherited.
Sorry, must have pinged the wrong Paul.
@Paul Gibbs
When I delete a user it says: Error, try again later. The user is still logged in and can still post.@hnla
From the WP backend, marking the user as blocked doesn’t help either.I was a bit cautious about deleting the account from the WP-back end, since I want the e-mail address blacklisted as well and I did read here on the forums that it may mess the PM routing – Users getting messages not meant for them.
Forgot to add: deleting them generates an error.
Any ideas would be highly appreciated.
I have also had that Deprecated error when I was running it on WAMPP with BP1.2.4 and WP 2.9.2 Seemed to have been fine on XAMPP.
When I upgraded to BP 1.2.5.2 the plugin wont work. I have tried de-activating and reactivating but no change. I am guessing it does make changes to one of the wp_ tables which i need to clear. Will try that sometime.
Great plugin nevertheless. Really handy for group memebers’ self moderation.
Thanks rich!
Been looking for one as I submit a site for google indexing.
much appreciated.
Anyone who can point me to a plugin for sitemap.xml?
I think you need to run CHMOD on the parent directory to something like 755
I have only used wordpress standalone + BP though. But worth a try.
I have tried de-activating and re-activating it, still not working.
When I check the group documents folder, the document is uploaded. It just doesn’t show on the “Documents” tab under that particular group. It’s an empty list, yet there are documents in the group folder when I manually check there.
So the problem must with the display, not the uploading part.
Hope to test it on WP 3 soon.
Changing folder permissions it now logs this error:
“gd-jpeg: JPEG library reports unrecoverable error: Wrong JPEG library version: library is 62, caller expects 70”
Any ideas?
This may help with slugs

Thanks. Will try that, just now. Much appreciated.
@glamgrif, Much appreciated for the link. I’ve just tried it in a buddypress install. True that it doesnt work at all for buddypress. I’ll probably look into launching a different stylesheet as well.
@glamgrif Thanks for the links. I’ll check them out just now. I am using the default theme at the moment and was keen on the forums being mobile browser friendly.
Care to give me a link to the plugin?Any update on this?
Great. Much appreciated.
I have thought about the css trick. Where do I attach the div?
