Does what is says. I hacked it a bit to handle img links as I wanted to allow members to show several thumbnail photos in their extended profile. (photography based site) . My php skills are not the greatest so I copied the existing function and edited it to force a img width for each thumbnail. thanks for sharing this.

@r-a-y hey do you recommend installing buddypress on WP 3.0 multisite with multsite set up as subdomains or subfolders? also is there a step by step install guide for buddypress with the new 3.0 multisite?

It depends on your needs regarding subdomains vs. subdirectories.
As an example, if you use subdomains, your BP blogs will be a subdomain.
eg. newblog.example.comSo it’s something to keep in mind.
