Hmm, I notice that when I navigate back to the front page it still asks a logged in user to log in.

Okay I’ve installed the ‘BP Redirect to Profile for Buddypress’ plugin which redirects users to their profile on login; this makes it clear they are in fact logged in.

Yes I am using the default theme. I’m also using the plugin ‘BP Disable Activation’ (everyone was getting marked as a spammer when they registered).

When someone logs in it looks like they aren’t, they still see the Login box and ‘To start connecting please log in first’ which leads to them trying to log in again and again. Refreshing the page DOES show they are logged in, as does navigating to a different page, however a lot of people […]
