If you alreayd have users with blog, and then add buddypress, then yes – this has been a persistant issues. BP doesn’t automagically go find them all.

Are you on a Windows server?

Sounds like a server config.

“Permission denied” means look at the physical file or folder on the server. WP or bbpress does not have permission to write to it. (CHMOD)

It’s cutting off like that because you have a php error. Find the error logs on the server and start reading.

Are they not getting *sent* or are they not getting *recieved*? Becasue those are two separate issues.

Are you the admin getting email notifies? If yes, then you know the mails are getting sent.

If some users are not receiving emails, do they have hotmail or comcast addresses?

The “My Blogs” list will only show the blog that user has *admin access* on. Not any other blog they happen to be a member of.

I think you need to realize that the developers of a *different* plugin giving you the brush off has absolutely *nothing* to do with BO development or BP developers. Well, there’s the elastic theme, and there’s P2 both of which have front end editing. there’s other front end editing plugins which work after the entry is posted.

Given the admin bar is going in wp 3.1, things are moving in that direction anyway. A bunch of developers are working independently on things like this.

This isn’t currently possible without some programming work. ie; there’s no settings in the backend to fiddle.

Buddypress manages everything centrally.

WordPress manages *users* globally on the network.
