I, and the ones like me that come after, thank you.
I saw the same issue, and switching to the default theme cured it. Would someone please give me a clue what to look for that might lead to this? I don’t see a reply.php in the bp default theme, what controls that? Thanks!

If you use google you can put in
site:buddypress.org
with your search and the search results will be limited to results from this site which is cataloged daily by google, including all of the forums. I did some searching and testing and was satisfied that it works pretty well.hi mercime

I will attempt to use google to search these forums, really, what I’m looking for is other people who’ve had my problem. Why ask a question if it’s already been answered.
Your volunteer time is greatly appreciated. I didn’t mean for any of that to sound complainy, just trying to figure out if I was missing something.
Apparently this only happens in FireFox, seems to function as expected in IE and Chrome. FF bug in the javascript I guess. Weird.
It seems that `bp_ajax_querystring( ‘groups’ )` returns `type=active&action=active&user_id=3&scope=personal` when echoed out under a subscriber, but returns nothing when echoed under the admin.
