Thanks for the reply on this and sorry just now getting back…life got in the way…can you explain in newbie elementary terms exactly what you were discussing in regards to having me show up as admin and not just looking like a logged in user on buddypress…what is happening is…when I log into my wordpress I show up on my webpage as like a logged in user..doesn’t say admin or anything…I want to be displayed as a admin/moderator for the site…how do I do this…in elementary terms please as I am new to WordPress although I have learned so much and have actually almost put up a complete website…but I am even newer to buddypress although I have it up on my site…these little kinks such as this one are getting in the way…thankful for this buddypress support forum….if you could help I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks I read the links but am still somewhat confused….I am going to have to dig…I am use to it as I have done ALOT of digging while learning both wordpress and buddypress…I am a little confused on what that link is explaining…I guess what I was trying to get at that if I am going to show up I would at least like it to label me as admin and where do I set up to be able to moderate things on the site…especially the forum but on buddypress as well…I want to be able to moderate for any abuse, language, etc but first and foremost I want to see myself labeled on there as the administrator…Rhonda

Thanks so much for your response…I was thinking that maybe there is some kind of glitch and I should deactivate buddypress and then reactivate but I am scared it will mess with the work I have already done…
I am using the newest version of buddypress 2.3.3….I am so frustrated!! I am a newbie with WordPress although I have learned SO MUCH up to now….I am understanding many parts of buddypress and am actually going through a tutorial right now…I am unable to upload profile pic…when I go to upload one I can get a picture to come up to crop and all but when I hit upload it does nothing…help…I am VERY frustrated…I want to make more progress and this is a stumper…thanks!!
