That’s interesting @DJPaul. BP was doing quite fine with the WP 3.0a until the very last 1.2.3 update. Not a huge big deal since it’s only a test site. Thanks for the info.
Not sure if my issue is related but sounds similar. I just upgraded my WP 3.0 test site to the latest BP 1.2.3 and the activity stream won’t show any longer when set to be the home page of the site. It shows up under its own tab when I choose something else as the home page however. This install is at http://3rdTribe.net. TIA!
Nice, Brajesh. Right you are. Just curious, how would I know or learn that sort of solution to something similar in the future? TIA
Hey,
I just received similar:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_get_user_nav() in /home/public_html/3rdTribe.net/public/wp-content/themes/bp-default/members/single/home.php on line 15
However, I’m just running the default theme, no children going on. Also, on WP 3.0a (running in network mode) if that makes any difference? TIA!
Just completed a fresh install like you did Arghagain. Thought it was just my eyes that was trickerating on me!
Ahhh. Figured it out. Based upon what I read over here: https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/%C2%BFincluded-bbpress-in-buddypress-or-integrate-standalone-bbpress
You’ll realize that in the BuddyPress integrated lite bbPress, you have to create a group (analogous to forum title creation) and then you’ll be able to post topics to that group’s forum listings.
At least I think this is how it works!
I’m with you carlmartin10. I’m running the latest WPMU and just updated svn for buddyPress and am still unable to get the avatars to upload or display. There’s a ton of results when you do a search on the problem, but pretty much all of them either tell you to update or set the permissions. If that doesn’t solve the problem, we’re pretty much left out in the cold!
