Are you using a custom theme? It’s possible that something in your theme is hiding the link behind something else.
Also, make sure that JavaScript is enabled in your browser. The CloudSponge integration won’t work with JS turned off (due to the nature of how the CS widget works)

Awesome, so glad you got it figured out! (Sorry for the lack of response; I was on vacation)

Thanks for testing! I was indeed importing the WP admin CSS and thought it would be a bear to take it out – but actually it ended up being super easy. See https://github.com/boonebgorges/buddypress-docs/issues/46 and the corresponding commit. I have seen the tinymce toolbar problem before – I think it’s theme related (doesn’t happen in bp-default). […]

I’ve just announced the first public beta for BuddyPress Docs, my collaborative editing plugin for BP. It creates a tab in the Groups interface (and, soon, in the profile interface as well) where users can collaboratively create and edit text documents. The plugin features full rich text editing on the BP front end, full taxonomy […]

Thanks for the kind words 🙂 Good thought on the cross-posting. The plugin is built in such a way that cross-posting can easily be done – I just haven’t built anything on the front-end for it to work yet. Also, I’m planning to build a piece that allows users to see lists of their own […]

FYI – The first iteration of BP Docs will *not* have any upload features. However, on the short list of near-term developments is integration with Peter’s BP Documents, which is the de facto document storage solution on the site that I run. I’ll make the upload component in a detached enough way that you could […]

If you made changes to the core files, then yes, those changes will be deleted. What do you mean by “made some changes”?

The safest way to do it is like this: – If your site is currently being actively used, block access with an .htaccess rule. (This is not required, but I do suggest it.) See http://www.techiecorner.com/97/redirect-to-maintenance-page-during-upgrade-using-htaccess/ for example – Download the most recent stable build of BuddyPress…[Read more]

Try deleting and reinstalling the BuddyPress 1.2.8 files. It sounds like you got a corrupted version.

The file should be bp-custom.php (with a hyphen, not an underscore). Also, make sure you have opening and closing PHP delimiters:

Yeah, the way that some of the screen stuff works in BP 1.3 is changed, so it’s likely that I’ll have to adjust the way that screens are loaded.

@hnla – Thanks for having a look. I haven’t even tried loading the plugin on BP-bleeding, so I’m unsurprised to hear that it doesn’t work. I’ll definitely have a look as 1.3 becomes imminent.

Thanks for having a look, @mercime.
That text is auto-generated, and is obviously incorrect 🙂 I don’t know how to remove it.

There is no non-hackish solution for the network_admin_menu issue, sadly, especially if you need to guarantee compatibility with lots of different versions of everything.

The problem is 3.0.x + BP < 1.2.8. BP 1.2.8 creates its own version of network_admin_menu when one is not present. Just tagged 0.8.1 which should fix the problem.

Dang it. I used the wrong hook structure to make it compatible with 3.0MS. I, of all people, should understand the difference. 0.8.1 coming up.

I’ve just tagged v0.8 of Invite Anyone. New features: – Integration with the CloudSponge address book service, allowing your users to invite members to the site based on their email address book (Gmail, Outlook, etc). For more on that, read my blog post: http://teleogistic.net/2011/02/invite-anyone-0-8-and-cloudsponge-integration/ – Data has been…[Read more]
