Thanks, I have found out that I did everything it says, but it did not work in the beginning because of my theme. After I have updated my theme to the newer version everything works fine now. So, how can I close this topic now?

I have found an another way of making the sidebar fixed from this website, http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_positioning.asp. But, I don’t know how to utilise those instructions with what I try to achieve?

Hi, I have just added the codes you gave me from the first link, http://pastebin.com/vtdLX2pM. But, it somehow didn’t work?! Just take a look at my website to see how it looks now, http://buppha.co.uk/. I did exactly what it said in the instructions, but the extra sidebars stay on the left side only: One on the top above the header, and one below the footer.

Thanks for your help @mercime! I will try to create the sidebars from your instructions now. I will report it back how’s going with it.

Thanks for your response! But, I don’t know about I could use that method from the link you gave me since my main purpose is that: I want to create additional sidebars alongside the container. So basically, the new sidebars, which would be one on the left and one on the right, should float outside the wrapper/container, so they would cover most of the background. And they have to be fixed. So, if I scroll down the page they wouldn’t move. Is that a way to accomplish this?

Hi, thanks for registering on my site to test the buddypress media plugin for me. I have now temporary moved you to an upgraded-member, http://justbefamous.com/members/saurabh/, so you could upload photos and see about you can delete it or not. Thanks!

By the way, the album tab under the media did not work either.

Thank you very much. You are welcome to register through the standard registration to see how it will work. But, it’s good that you mentioned about registering through facebook, which is not so convenient anyway. So, I will try to register a test profile via facebook too to see how it works. Again, thanks for your response!

Thanks for your prompt response! I don’t know why you ran into that issue? I have done a test registration myself on my site a couple of times without any problem. So, I don’t know what could it be the case. Did you register yourself through the LoginRadius plugin?

Hi @mercime, thank you very much for your help. I have now managed to make all the texts on the profile page to align left instead of middle.

Thanks for your prompt response! The page where all the texts are in the middle is actually the profile page: http://justbefamous.com/members/buppha/.

I have now successfully made buddypress compatible with my theme. Thank you so much for your help @mercime! One more thing I found strange after the operation is now the “Create Group” button is no longer there? I can’t find it anywhere? It was there before in the groups directory, http://buddygalaxy.com/groups/. I could create a group before I integrated buddypress with my wordpress theme. But, it has now disappeared.

Do you know what could cause this? Beforehand Thanks!

Ok, I got it now. I’ll start all over again. Thank you so much for your help.

I have tried it. But I was afraid of copying & pasting the code directly into my theme’s style sheet. So, I don’t know what’s the best thing to do?

I tried the method from here, https://codex.buddypress.org/legacy/theme-dev-bp-template-pack-walkthrough-twenty-ten-bp-1-5/. But it didn’t work out with my theme very well. What did I do wrong here? Anybody knows? Thanks!

Thank you so much! I’ll try that.

Hi, I have the exact same problem. I have installed the pinboard theme and bp-template-pack. But, I’m having problem understanding step 3 in bp-template-pack? I don’t know how to modify the 16 files in the 6 folders that’re being copied to the theme. Please help. Beforehand Thanks!

There is a comment option below the text area, but there’s no option which I can switch off the comment?! And I have not ticked “Allow Comment” either.
