Hi,
I am new to Buddypress and just launched my first Buddypress Community on a shared Server. It is not allowed to run any tests like JMeter or soapUI. How can I estimate how many users my website is able to handle?
In the Bp-tricks article it says the WP-Engine personal hosting plan can handle up to 25.000 visitors a month. Has anyone experience with shared server and how much they handle?
I am using the Salutation Theme and the newest versions of WP and BP. I noticed that my nicename got an “-2” attended to it. Don’t know where this came from. I deleted the “-2” in phpAdmin, but that didn’t solve the Problem.
Thanks @chouf1 that solved the problem with the error message!
But now I have a new problem I can upload a picture, but at the step where you can crop the image the image isn’t loaded. It works with personal profile pictures, but not with group avatars.
Update: A caching plugin was causing the Errormessage, I disabled it and the Errormessage is gone, but still I can’t crop profile images in groups. (strangely I can crop profile images of users) All I get is the “crop image” and “preview” but I don’t see the image I just uploaded. Firebug says the image couldn’t be loaded, but I don’t have any Idea why. After this step they appear, but uncropped. Any suggetions what to try to solve this?
By the way, my site is http://www.hockeyville.de
