I will never use cometchat it doesn’t work. I purchased it I followed all the installation instructions and it doesn’t even show up. Nothing nada .. waste of time and money.
My problem with the activation e-mail is that when you click on the link in the e-mail it goes to google page not found listing the URL including the additional code .. however I found that by getting people to copy and paste it into their browser it did work .. not ure what is causing this problem. If it works in the browser why is it not working in the e-mail?
Am also having problems with the plugin … when you check the facebook box it will send to Facebook from the activity and group areas, however, when you do the same in forums It shows google page not found listing the page URL, which usually ends in forum. Not sure what or why this is happening as it works fine on the rest of the site. If I could rectify this problem the site would be running perfectly and I would be very happy. I have a dedicated server using Linux.
