the problem is i have not been able to find a fieldtypes/gmap/gmap.js in the admin. where is this supposed to be?
i echoed the path and it is correct.

i got this error: /duedrops/wp-content/plugins/gpress/gpress-admin/fieldtypes/gmap/gmap.js Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) the gmap/gmap.js doesnt exist

the path seems to be incomplete. “http://cezar.dev/duedrops” is the root.

deactivate all but buddypress and gpress, tested in firefox, safari, chrome. i’m on OS X working on a local installation.

there is a setting in gpress>advance>misc use jqueryui on settings page. if set to no, there arent two instances of ui-customised.js but still not working.
could it be that the problem exists because i am using a child theme? maybe a TEMPLATEPATH somewhere that should be a STYLESHEETPATH for it to work?

still not sorted unfortunately. same as before. shows in profile not under settings. i will look into the sign up link. to me its great news.

i have the same issue. WP 3.0.1 – BP 1.2.5.2 and GP 0.2.4.2.3 the map doesnt show under settings > geo but its still there under profile.
the search for location doesnt work anymore. so you can’t add a location for a new user.

i deactivated all plugins and no luck.

thanks for the reply. i wasn’t aware of the gMaps theme framework. sounds great. i will wait to see how the 2.0 version looks like. the current one seems too maps centric and it might not be what we want. i wouldn’t mind subscribing if it would solve the needs we have for the community but at the moment i am not sure if it does.
