In reply to: Expanding “item-body” in profile pages?
I’m sorry but upon trying to tackle this i realize how much of a noob I really am at all this. How would I go about adding a class or id? I looked around but only got confused. Any help would REALLY be great!
In reply to: Expanding “item-body” in profile pages?==Mercime: Just to clarify, you mentioned that you deleted the sidebar from the template files of the profile pages, which template files did you edit?==
* I took them out of the members/single/home.php.==hnla: You may need to add a class or id to /members/single/home.php on the highest element that exists in the structure which should be ‘content’==
* Thank you for the suggestion, I will try this out tonight!Thank you both for answering my post. I will let you know how it works out!
This same thing is happening to me! Here is the code in question.
`function bp_album_delete_by_user_id($user_id,$remove_files = true){
global $bp;
if($remove_files){
$pics = BP_Album_Picture::query_pictures(array(
‘owner_type’ => ‘user’,
‘owner_id’ => $user_id,
‘per_page’ => false,
‘id’ => false
));if($pics) foreach ($pics as $pic){
@unlink($pic->pic_org_path);
@unlink($pic->pic_mid_path);
@unlink($pic->pic_thumb_path);}
}bp_activity_delete(array(‘component’ => $bp->album->id,’user_id’ => $user_id));
return BP_Album_Picture::delete_by_user_id($user_id);
}`In reply to: Profile layout editOr perhaps is there a way to use a style sheet from another theme? Like have Buddypress look to another file for it’s layout. It would be great if I could have the functionality of the buddypress theme in my profiles without changing the look of my entire site. I’m not sure if this is even possible but any insight would be great!

In reply to: Ebay like feedback?I’m still looking for a way to have an Ebay like rating system. Does anyone here have a way to rate users in a social network?
In reply to: Ebay like feedback?Ok so I found a tutorial written by justbishop about doing exactly this! Alas a crucial link is broken on it. I have messaged her in hopes for a hand. I’ll keep you posted.
In reply to: Ebay like feedback?HMMMM…. I do like your thinking on that. Maybe use the CMS Press plugin (By Michael Pretty) coupled with the GD star rating plugin (By gdragon). I will play and get back to you.
In reply to: BP album + organize by albumsSweet! thanks a lot for getting back to me! I’ll give this a look!
Please disregard that last post. I solved the problem. Your code works beautifully!
Hello! I have this same exact problem. I tried the work around and still it doesn’t work. Did i do this wrong?

In reply to: Multiple Profile Group Fields in RegistrationI have the same question as well. I have created a couple more field groups in Buddypress profile fields section on the dash. Alas, none but the base group shows up in registration. Any help on how to get around this would be fantastic!
In reply to: [Resolved] Missing Members Directory!I figured it out! It turns out I had to first create a members directory. I used a plugin to that effect. Once it was up and running the BP profile search attached itself to it and Roberts your fathers brother (Bobs your uncle) it all worked like a charm! Thank you for your thoughts mercime!
In reply to: [Resolved] Missing Members Directory!Thank you for your reply, I believe that’s only if I’m using the buddypress default theme though; I am not. It goes on to say “If you are not using the BuddyPress default theme, you have to insert the BP Profile Search form somewhere in your theme Members page”. I have no such page. I have tried just creating a page and inserting the code ”. This didn’t work of course. Any thoughts?
In reply to: Only members get profilesSorry I took so long to check this post. Been away. Thank you so much pcwriter I will check this out! solves a big issue I had! Thanks again!
In reply to: Crop tool issueOk, I figured out That this line, <script type="text/javascript" src="/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.3.2″> Was the culprit. I removed it and everything works great! not sure what that line was there for in the first place though. Hopefully nothing too important lol!
In reply to: Crop tool issueAnyone have any ideas?
In reply to: BuddyBar for bbPressoh lol… well thank you Xevo. I shall just have to be patient!
In reply to: BuddyBar for bbPressok so I figured out it was unable to locate my blog-header.php due to a capitalization error. Now however a completely blank screen comes up. Any ideas?
