@matt..Thank you your assistance. If a plugin is free or not you at least expect some kind of support if they offer it. I believe they have a support button so they do. A simple acknowledgment would suffice.

I have fixed the issue and it appears it was a poll plugin conflicting with BuddyPress. Issue now resolved.

As for my hosting I contacted my hosting company and they advised me not to upgrade, seems they dont want my money! ring a ring a roses comes to mind! However the advised me to install a WP Super Cache plugin which was nice of them.

Is this Buddy Press support, because it really feels like I’m writing to myself here!

I’ve noticed a javascript error in the “global.js” file on line 1519.

Uncaught TypeError: Property ‘undefined’ of object #<Object> is not a function.

I believe this is a BuddyPress error. Any ideas on this and my original problem?

    Hello,

I have checked with my hosting provider (godaddy), they have checked my site and advised that I do not need to upgrade to the next level of hosting.

It does seem that BP is the issue here, any help would be appreciated since BP is essential to my website!

    Thanks Again.

Yes I am on shared hosting, although I dont think that has anything to do with it! I think possiblt some sort of javascript conflict with the theme’s slider?
