tried with 1.1.7 and it works great, great plugin by the way. have no idea why 2.0 is not working on my site.

I use wp super cache. however got an issues with logging out sometimes. when i log out it it gets me redirected to the front page but it still looks as if i’m logged in. when i go to another page it shows i’m logged out. I think it is because of wp super cache. but for the rest it works great.

thanks a lot. yup that was pretty much what i had in mind. a profile that only friends can see .

I tried the function. but doesn’t seem to work. Probably my fault. anyways I changed the 9 and 2 id to the categories I wanted removed from activity but they still show up. do I have to change something else in this code also?

I really appreciate that you wrote and/or shared this code btw.

you need wordpress multisite for that. Some host offer the possibility to automatically install multisite with softaculous. If you hosts doesn’t do this you need to do it manually here you can find the information. https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

I don’t think you can upload a video with activity + . I assume you mean remove upload image from activity +? that is fairly simple.

try adding this to your theme’s main css file: .qq-upload-button { display: none !important; }

have no idea i googled “bp_is_member” cause i knew this would probably be the main reason that it wouldn’t work. found a site called http://phpxref.ftwr.co.uk/buddypress/nav.html?_functions/index.html
went to my cpanel of the location it gave me and just changed it in the optionsbar.php.

past picture was from a previous install but with this new installation i had the same issue until i changed it to user.

aha thanks Hugo. took a look at plugins/buddypress/bp-core/deprecated/1.5.php tried changing bp_is_member to bp_is_user and it works now. I only hope this is the right way to do it. oO

nothing yet asked him almost 3 days ago but didn’t get a reply here: http://buddydev.com/forums/topic/coupld-of-bugs-with-bp-mag-classic. so i had nothing better to do then looking into it myself, and I found this problem. read some tutorials about php codes. (else if) tried some different ways to implement it all failed.

just wondering if the code looks okay like that. so i can search for the issue somewhere else. i will take a look in the bp default templates didn’t do that yet thanks.

I was also afraid since it works on his bp mag classic demo its got nothing to do with the theme. and its once again an issue with my wordpress installation or host.

aha thanks. mercime. Sorry for saying that it looked dead. Just a lot of their plugins and themes haven’t been updated for a while I think. but maybe they don’t have too.

I would have asked buddydev at his forum but is was private so I came here. Anyways I know a lot more know thank you
