OK – Spent the last hour checking to be sure and wp_footer(); is in the single theme I have enabled….

An example blog with that basic theme is at http://eddy.ukexpats.eu/

As you can see there is no ‘bar’ at all – – – – – I hope .

Can I confirm that I would like the ‘bar’ to appear for all visitors – including those not logged in…..

Sorry Boone it was not very clear – To cut a long story short I would like to add a bar to the top of user blogs that has a link to ‘Add a blog’ or ‘Next random blog’ for non users…..

The only way I can see is to add it to individual blog templates – I am sure that this has been dealt with before though and must have an ez solution.

Thank you – I don’t know what I did to disable it.

I have now set it to use an existing forum install and used the original bb-config.php that I had used previously – The posts are gone, but that’s OK and there is an issue with the tag cloud – but I think I can handle that.

Hi – Thanks for taking the time to have a look..

There are no forum tabs and the group forums have gone – If I use a link from an old forum post it just redirects to the front page – No errors to report (I assume the default 404 is a redirect).

I have tried disabling the forums and re-enabling.

The URL is http://ukexpats.eu – I am just setting up so I have not lost anything – However I do need forums and its puzzling.
