@pnerger: Thanks for providing details about your setup and a link to the site. I’m looking into the issue now. Do you mind listing any other plugins that are running on the site? It could be useful in diagnosing and resolving the issue.

Some questions to help with troubleshooting:
What versions are you running (WP, BP, plugin)?
Are you hiding the normal group list, or have you enabled the group tree as a third tab?
Does the issue clear up or change if you click the Group Tree tab (cause an AJAX refresh)?

It is on line 14 in BP 1.2.8. Here is the relevant changelog from BuddyPress Trac:

To fix this on our installs, I had to add a member $mods to the BP_Groups_Group class in the BuddyPress core file bp-groups/bp-groups-classes.php. It is fixed in the trunk, but not in 1.2.8.

@johnny2011, it looks like the AJAX group listings don’t work on your site. Unfortunately, the tree view only works via AJAX for the time being.

As far as bread crumbs, I will see if I can create a template tag to display that. 🙂

I’m not sure there’s a good way to resolve this issue. I think the best workaround is to disable the IE9 fix in facebook connect, and add the compatibility line – – directly into your theme.

I haven’t experienced or had any reports of that issue. It works fine for me. 🙂

Can you provide any other details about your installation – versions of each component, any other plugins running, etc. ?

I still can’t reproduce this issue. However, a new version has just been released, and among other things, the way the “Create a Member Group” button works has been changed.

If you are experiencing this problem, please try out the new version and let me know whether that fixes it.

Do you have any other plugins running?
Also, which browser are you using?

I still haven’t been able to reproduce this, even on a fresh install of WP 3.1 and BP 2.8.
