If you are using Site wide Forums (bbPress 2), then you’ll need to create a link yourself. If you theme supports custom menus, you will be able to use that and it should be easy.

It depends on which theme you are using. If it supports custom backgrounds, set it in wp-admin > Appearance

@MajinSaha Hi. Did you complete the Install Wizard after activating BuddyPress? What type of server are you on (linux, windows)? Does your existing WordPress site use permalinks with “index.php” as part of the URL?

Maybe. If it’s a case for a manually added page, you’d have to turn them off, so that makes a bit of sense. The pages the Upgrader adds have comments disabled automatically.

Well.. there you go. BuddyPress 1.5 won’t work in the front end until you complete the installation (or upgrade, in your case) wizard in the backend.
