Yes. But what type of field was it you “cleared” that still caused the group to show up?

I tried it with a text field on http://testbp.org and it didn’t seem to occur. Can you try there?

@jetlej It is, but it’s not the default in 1.5. To see it, set define(‘BP_USE_WP_ADMIN_BAR’, true); in your wp-config.php

This doesn’t happen automatically. Someone is clicking a button, or you’ve got a plugin that’s doing this for you

They do work. If you post some more details on BuddyPress.org/support/, we’ll figure out what’s gone wrong with yours 🙂

If you leave out the “%s” in the message body, then those details will be left out. Working on a new version to make this more user friendly, too.

BuddyPress must be in: wp-content/plugins/buddypress/
