Nothing like that yet. Some mobile plugin did try to implement its own xml layer but I believe that effort was not completed.

You will need to filter in your members/index.php template based on the value of your xprofile field.

Which theme? Do non-BuddyPress widgets work? Have you tried removing the BuddyPress widgets from the widget area, and adding them again?

What happens permission-wise if you upload a file from the wp media library?
