Depends. If utilising the WP user roles would be acceptable, then this wouldn’t be too hard for you to build.

I’ve thought about this, and I’m waiting for another project to finish (regarding HTML emails). I’ll then see about this in a future build of Welcome Pack (some months away).

Achievements is on googlecode. Its trunk doesn’t really work right now.

I don’t think Achievements works fully on BP 1.3,
I’ve not tested properly yet.

Not sure if it’s a good idea, but could also do something like:
$group_class = apply_filters( 'bp_group_object', 'BP_Groups_Group' ); $this->current_group = new $group_class( $group_id );

It’s a problem with your site. Do you get any messages in your web server’s error log when you try these things?
