If you configure multisite to allow blog registrations, when a user registers an account on your BuddyPress-powered site, it will ask for/prompt for the name of the site (blog) to be created. BuddyPress then tells multisite to register that new site; there’s very little involvement here as far as BP is concerned.

Like I sad above, it’ll be part of 1.3. If you can’t wait, just add the margin to the appropriate elements yourself (I think that is all that was missing).

Installing WordPress in a directory with the same name as one of BuddyPress’ components will break things; it’s a known issue.

Problem occurs exactly when the author credit in the readme doesn’t match a wordpress.org user account name. I’ll let Boone police his own groups, but if any plugin author has this problem, I’m happy to fix.

No way of doing this via the front end, but it is possible to hard code this in. If you are familiar with PHP, I can tell you how.-

Paul, I was thinking about my problem here and had an idea. Would you know of a way to add script to specific posts that talk to the achievement plugin and tell it how many points to award for that post? For instance, I would have 1 achievement setup – comment on a post. Then, each post would tell the plugin how many points to award for commenting…[Read more]

Thanks your help and persistence trying to get to the bottom of this. I’ve recently started a fairly big rewrite of parts of Achievements, so as soon as I unbreak it again, I’ll look into this one again.

They will be listed there. You’re not using multisite, are you? In 3.1, new users aren’t automatically assigned to a blog so they appear in a different place than you might expect from new users created in 3.0.

I am beginning to think that a combination of a PHP opcode cache, I.e. APC, and Batcache is all you need, along with a properly configured MySQL and web server.

What theme? Does http://yoursite.com/achievements/ work? What versions of WordPress, BuddyPress an Achievements?
