No, because I haven’t been able to recreate it. Plus, you’ve not told us a single piece of information about your server — Windows IIS (what version?) or Apache? What are your permalinks set to? Have you customised .htaccess?

Groups exist within forums. After activating forums setup, create a group and you should have a forum option. p.s. you will find things broken and not working if you run BP 1.2.6 with WP 2.8.5. It requires WP 3.0 as a minimum.

You can already give negative points for an achievement, yes. If you *give* a user the achievement for 10, they’d then need the full 50 posts for the second achievement.

You’ll need to load this manually, preferably via functions.php (https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_script). Javascript and CSS files aren’t automatically loaded by WordPress child themes.

BP 1.2.5.1 I think was the last version that worked with WP 2.9. However, I would strongly encourage you to upgrade your client’s site to WP 3.0 so you can use the latest version of BuddyPress. Otherwise you will be missing out on security fixes and other bug fixes.

From my enquiries, I believe VaultPress only backs up the regular WordPress tables (i.e. not BuddyPress’).
