Super, glad to hear it. About forums not being deleted after removing a group. This is a bug in the current release which we’ve already fixed for the next version, you’d have to delete from the database manually for now.

I know why this would occur on bbPress (i.e. within a Group Forum) but your screenshot appears to be on a regular member’s activity stream. What other plugins do you have active?

Hm. Have you configured your site to use a specific charset/character encoding?

What version of BuddyPress and WordPress are you using?

Try using ‘bp_include’ with add_action rather than ‘init’

Where are you writing this?

As @crashutah said, in your child theme, override activity/entry.php and remove the appropriate line.

I’m assuming you have somehow changed your theme. If you haven’t, then the same but applies but it’s one of your plugins:

You probably have white space (i.e. literally a ” ” or a newline) at the top or bottom of a file, outside of any PHP tags.

Have you installed the forums via the BuddyPress “Forums setup” menu in wp-admin?

Woah. I would strongly recommend you upgrade to the latest version. 1.0.3 is a substantially different code base, and more important, it has security issues which the newer versions don’t have.

On a multisite install, you have to be a super admin to see the backend, yes.

Not planned for core at this time, but we try hard to provide support for anyone wanting to write a plugin to do this.

No one has told me if they are running additional plugins, or using a theme other than bp-default. We need to know if this occurs on a clean install and if it doesn’t, we can reactivate the plugins to find which one causes the warning so we can fix it.

Do you know PHP well?

Either you, or your web host, must have changed something; did you install a new theme, plugin, update to a newer version? etc

What is in your web server’s error log after you visit a group’s forum?

Which ones are you having trouble with in your theme? For example, css_id is never localised. And, unfortunately, most of the slugs can’t be changed (yet).

This site uses a customised version of the current “trunk” code, which adds support to BuddyPress to integrate into WordPress’ pages system/menus properly.

BP registers all existing blogs on a multisite install when the plugin’s activated — it’s probably using all the memory.
