If I remember correctly, the “ranked” achievements (i.e. 1, 10, 100 posts) might have appeared three times, but it looks more like a bug. However, Achievements doesn’t work with anything more recent than BuddyPress 1.1.3(?) and some earlier version of WordPress, perhaps 2.8(?). I’m working on a new version.

Put this in your wp-config.php:


define ( 'BP_ENABLE_ROOT_PROFILES', true );

Yep, this sort of thing will be possible when BuddyPress 1.3 is out.

BuddyPress 1.2.4 onwards should/is meant to work fine with WordPress 3.0. If it doesn’t, it’s a bug we need you to report at https://trac.buddypress.org/ so that we can fix it for the next build. BuddyPress 1.3 will require WordPress 3.0, and won’t work with any previous version of WordPress.

Where are you calling this code, how are you calling it, and you have checked that you’ve logged in as a user, right?

The standard WordPress .htaccess will be on the root directory of your website (once you enable pretty permalinks, at least).

Are these texts from a Groups’ Forum? If so, I know the bug.

At the moment, what you see is what you get. After buddypress 1.3 is released the email editing options/interface will be significantly overhauled and I will try to add all emails in then.
