I know you *want* it the other way around (which I am going to advise against in due course) but I need to know if you currently use Group Forums or have existing Group Forum content! 🙂

I think you’ll find that Disqus does actually require a connection to Facebook. You’ll have accepted a “Disqus app” from Facebook at some point.

Do you currently use Group Forums or have content in Group Forums that you need to migrate to bbPress?

Also make sure you’ve activated the plugin network-wide.

There are many possible reasons. Have you confirmed that other emails sent by your website are being received correctly?

For example, do a password reset for your account. Is the email sent?

If you’re going to re-open such an old topic without any new information — what emails that BuddyPress sends do you want to add attachments to? What’s the use case?
