BP 1.2.9 problems with WP 3.2.1?

Unable to access settings for BP groups. Groups previously created are gone. New spam groups were created by spam users. Don’t know what caused the problem but I have uninstalled and reinstalled BP and BP template pack several times. Tried different themes. Any help is appreciated. David

BuddyPress has huge compatibility issues with various WP Themes. Even with the BP Template Pack plugin, the alignment issue still remains. @r-a-y @r-a-y plugin ato embed media via url. Youtube url in BP group post just appears as a link. No embedded player. What am I missing?

  That URL won’t work because it’s an unlisted video. Maybe YouTube will offer oEmbed support for unlisted videos down the line. Try any other video and it should work.

r-a-y you say there are personal feeds in buddypress. How do I find my personal feed for posts I write in BP? Even if I do not have all group activity, my own feed would give me some choices.

Otherwise, I am also looking for a plugin to track group activity.

It seems odd that the select tool to choose crop area still does not show at all. When I installed BP, it worked. I just tried deactivating all BP plugins, and even with just the base BPplugin, the select tool fro group avatar does not show, so unable to select crop area. http://blog.davidhthomas.net I think […]

I am the admin

Email options not functioning. My profile shows “all email” option chosen, but I have gotten no emails. In the admin panel for group management options, my member profile says “no email”.

I would love to see a plugin to enable email notification of new posts to a group.

Along those lines, the standard notification feature does not work well. Several groups members have responded to something I wrote, but I never got a notice, even though I have it checked in the preferences.
