Does anyone know why I would be getting a 200 error?

Without a trailing slash my website reads as though it is a different address. If someone can give me an idea, I would appreciate it. Actually, I am kinda shocked that I am the only one with this problem, doesn’t anyone else have this problem? My mu wordpress is standard. The only difference I can think is that I am not using the buddypress-home theme?

Thanks for the 150×150 error fix, however the picture does not show up even after uploading. I am guessing that is may be a part of Trents ticket.

How is everybody else handling older avatars from old sign ups? How do I get my old sign ups to show their avatars? Or is everyone waiting for the change avatar to just re-upload? Thanks for the 411

It appears that the forward slash at the end of the address creates this error

Clicking on the activity and other icons currently returns an address similar to the one below:

http://mywebsite.com/members/ashley/activity

instead it should be:

http://mywebsite.com/members/ashley/activity/

Thanks for the Global notification system, that is very much needed in order to make buddypress work.

Avatars, I noticed that avatars are being saved to one particular folder under the blog.dir and within that folder other folders are created for the users, is that the way it will continue to work? And what should I do about previous users who signed up. There folder is not in that same primary folder, and their pics do not show up anymore.

As the nadiamode & trent have mentioned there is an issue with 150px X 150px” error when trying to change an avatar. Thanks for your help.

I am going through it right now. I tried it one time with trunk 438 and it didn’t appear to change anything, however I am replacing all files again and re-uploading.

Cleared history and track 438 works! Thanks

and got the same error when trying to sign-up…

Plus all links to users are now getting 404’s on your site

I still have problems I re-downloaded 431 and installed everything; buddypress new themes and muplugins. However when I look at the avatar I upload I get the following:

files//2008 The only reason I said a directory issue is cause the // between files and 2008 looks peculiar.

And I still have the same problem with trying to sign up as member lengsh has confirmed.

Do you have an idea of what it could be?

C’mon Andy, I was just about to overtake myspace… haha!

It looks like a directory issue:

/files//2008/10/testAvatar.jpg

after files there is no directory listed.

I get how the buddpress homepage is coming along with groups, recent posts, etc… It’s very nice! Do you know when approximatley you’ll have a search? In addition, do you happen to know what the intentions are for virally spreading a buddypress websites existence?

Take yammer.com for instance; supposedly they had something like 60,000 sign-ups in a couple of weeks??? I have a site thats up and some people join every once in a while, however it seems like something is missing. Some sort of linkage, maybe a giant flaw in my business model?

Do you think a twitter type plugin will help? Or do you have something in mind that you are working on, or some type of advise? Much appreciated for your time…

I have my site set to a regular home page, however I set my profile page under http://mysite.com/members

I do not want to use my homepage as the (buddypress homepage) member page, I want to use the member page, however, it is set as a buddypress profile page. I want that page to be the buddypress home page. However, there is not an option to change it under the profile admin somehow the design function is disabled. What are my solutions??? Thanks

Keeping on this post, how do I get my posts authors to show up as a monster or random image? Cause when I look at them now they show up as a question mark.?. when users don’t upload a pic. I set my setting to monsters in my admin, does that mean every user thereafter will receive a monster pic?
