Can we add some download restrictions for the documents uploaded. Right now, once a document is uploaded, anyone (whether logged in or not) can download the document. It will be great if the document link is seen to everyone but when they click to download it, they are asked to login.

  AFAIK it is fixed in BuddyPress 1.2.4 (not released yet)

Even I am facing this problem. I noticed that the image was actually uploaded but it is using a wrong path in the crop page.
