Thank you, it turned out to be the plugin bp-tinymce that made the problems. The activity/post/ issue was a haphazard.

When an activity update is posted, the function bp_activity_post_form_action in wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-activity/bp-activity-templatetags.php is called. When a post is sent, nothing happens. Except that phrase turn up above the text field: “Please enter some content to post”. Inserting some new text, gives the same result.
