BP-Media appears to be correctly processing the images and writing the URL for the stored image to the database. This problem is likely being caused by:

1) Something wrong with your .htaccess file
2) Something wrong with your directory permissions

BP-Media 0.1.8 does not currently work on muklti user sites with subdomains. However the next maintenance release, due out in a few weeks, will fix this problem.

Actually, the fix even works for MU sites, unless you are using a different subdomain for each user. It will work for www.mysite.com/username/etc but not for http://www.username.mysite.com .

This is easily accomplished *in version 0.1.9* using the “Featured Content Loop”.

Are you sure you are posting this in the correct group? or are you trying to add these features *to* BP-Media?

That is correct.

BP-Media treats groups as a separate “actor” or “entity” within the system. As such, their images will have a separate URL stub.

It is possible to fix this problem by modifying your .htaccess file.

The defect will be fixed in maintenance release 0.1.8.1 which we’ll probably be uploading to the WP plugins site sometime within the next 2 weeks.
