@Erich73 BP Album+ is compatible with WP 3.0, it will work with any BuddyPress component disabled (although you will lose features) and it is compatible with any properly written plugin.

@sicksight We’re going to integrate support for the most popular video sites like YouTube, Revver, etc. We will not be adding functionality for hundreds of small sites because it would be impossible to keep all of them working.

@blacktattoo, @fib : Version 0.1.9 allows you to set the sort order in the admin backend, and has a very sophisticated “latest uploads” widget. Future versions will include AJAX drag and drop image sorting, just like Facebook.

The BETA versions of 0.1.9 do not upgrade a 0.1.7 installation.

The RELEASE version of 0.1.9 will fully upgrade a 0.1.7 installation, and will import all the images and data. So no, you won’t lose any uploaded content.
