I’ve confirmed the defect on my dev workstation. Its possible to upload .exe and .css files, but NOT .dll’s, .php, or anything that could be used to compromise a server.

I’ll have an update out in a few hours.

This is the latest nightly build that runs on a normal server. The current nightly build will only run on dev workstation because we’re refactoring the core classes. Not much longer to a new nightly build release, however.

The functionality you’re describing *doesn’t exist* in BP-Album+ or BP-Media. It sounds like you’re confusing our plugin with the WordPress admin post editor.

Please take some screen captures of what you’re seeing, post links to them, and I’ll try to figure out what you’re doing.

The plugin supports GIF, JPG, and PNG file formats. If the plugin does not correctly resize a GIF image, you may have found a defect in *WordPress*. Please post a copy of the file, or e-mail it to me (my email address is listed on my profile).

@hkcharlie You are in the right forum. BP-Album+ should deactivate sitewide when you deactivate it on the admin menu. It is possible there is a defect in our code related to the recent large changes that were made to WordPress and BuddyPress.
