@foxly this is great! I will have to give this plugin another look. When I first installed it, nothing worked with the version of WP and BP I have installed (most recent).

I’ll check out the code and see if I can’t help 🙂

Thank you for your comment and put my report to the tracker.
If 0.1.9 lets a user choose strlen (substr) or mb_strlen (mb_substr) in the plugins’s admin menu, it will be useful I think.

i got it working with the .htaccess file change (was missing a dir in the redirect)…moved the bp blog root back to the main site as well

that didn’t work…i actually have buddypress running off a subblog and had the base URL set to http://ourplink.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/11/files/album which works for the album but for some reason in the activity the pics still reference the bad virtual machine url

@foxly, to confirm, 0.1.8 is fully ready to go on a live site and will upgrade nicely to 0.1.9?

@foxly Thanks you for your answer, but the version 0.1.9 is not released yet ? It’s still in beta and I’ve read that it wouldn’t’ recommend to install it on a live site. Can you confirm that ?

Given your skill to programatically pull what you need out of the array, you could have both what you need for back-end placement of the photo, and front-end serving of the photo, providing links to browse and view the photo.
