How do u fix a squint Footer?

The footer keeps on showing up normal but its squeezed to a fixed size instead of fluid.

I have read the step by step guide from the BP theme pack ( BuddyPress Compatible ) and after its done with step 3 its functional but it doesn’t look right.

I’ve tried and the BuddyPress page contents do not look right in my themes ( no matter which one )
