Hi there, I’ve recently installed buddystream and it seems to work like a charm so far. The main problem I’m having right now, though, is that because my server runs on IIS, there is no cron service available and the ‘background import’ function doesn’t seem to be available. Is there any workaround for this?

I’ve tried that, but the permalink will default to include an ‘index.php’ in the permalink as well. I suppose I’ll have to go configure my server to allow pretty permalinks

Hi Paul, as far as permalinks are concerned, mine are configured to “/index.php/2010/10/24/sample-post/”

As far as I know, my server is running IIS and the wordpress and buddypress versions are 3.0.1 and 1.2.6 respectively
